During the last few weeks before Christmas, we installed plantation shutters in a new build home in Winnersh, Reading. In view of our client’s house being overlooked by other properties, they were searching for privacy and security in a modern window and door dressing.
During this installation of the door and window, we recommended our Antigua Range of MDF, as with a young family this range was more robust and would be easier to keep clean of sticky handprints.
We designed all the shutters in full height with hidden tilt rods, the door shutters were all designed with a mid-rail and installed on a frame with t-posts and bio folding panels.
The louvres in these shutters are 76mm and were finished in the colour silk white which matches perfectly with the door and window surrounds.
